New projects in my SEO work - chance for promoton

Today I  will return to the subject in professional life and leave my private life for a while. 

I will only briefly mention that I am fine privately, that is, I am healthy and I am doing well. 

 

A few of my friends fell ill with COVID, but for now I'm sticking with it. However, in matters of the heart, the situation is slightly developing, but I will not anticipate the facts. 

As the regular readers of my blog know, I currently work as a website positioning SEO specialist and my tasks include providing services to our clients.

 I am a junior SEO specialist but the management is satisfied with my work and maybe soon I will be promoted to a higher position - the so-called specialist, and I will receive my own project for management. 

Becoming an SEO specialist is of course associated with greater responsibility, as each specialist has their own assigned project and is directly responsible for the results.  

Of course, the promotion will be associated with an increase in wages, but the NDA contracts prohibit me from writing about it.

What is the financial situation of the SEO / SEM industry 

There are more and more projects in our company, especially since the e-commerce industry is developing strongly and many companies are resigning from stationary stores in favor of online stores. 

Of course, high competition means that these companies need professional positioning services when they want to stay ahead of the competition and be higher in search results in Google or Bing. 

At the moment I am assigned to a project related to small household appliances and kitchen equipment. 

It turns out that many people buy coffee machines, grinders, mixers, toasters and many other accessories of this type, because we have to prepare our own meals ourselves when locked in our homes. 

The reason for this is also that we have more time to experiment in the kitchen or replace old appliances. 

It seems forced - out of boredom, we return to the activity of independent cooking with the family. Who orders positioning of online stores - seo for e-commerce? 

Our main client is the online store from Great Britain, which mainly offers accessories with kitchen equipment. The offer also includes irons, wine coolers and so on - in short, everything that can be useful at home. I believe that there will be a lot of work for me Next year because the industry is one of the few that is very actively developing.

I would like to show off the results of my work, but I need to consult my lawyers if my NDA allows me to publish the address of the store. As soon as I get approval - I will let you know.

What the SEO Specialist do in his / her work?

But let's get to the point because many of you have asked what is the job of a Google Engine expert in a company providing SEO services. I mainly deal with data analysis in the Google search console of our clients and look for problems that can be improved .

Sometimes I am also responsible for link Building, i.e. preparing promotional content and placing it in our back office.

 I am not a copywriter, so I do not prepare articles myself, but I outsource it to other people, giving only the subject and landing pages We also work with photographers who provide us with unique photos for our articles or are later posted in our informational websites and back-end blogs. 

In general, it is difficult to say and indicate one activity that he takes because the work is so diverse that I do something different every day and it all depends on the consultant's creativity and the situation he is dealing with the website he is currently taking care of.
