Hello my beloved, another month of my struggle for existence is passing.
The situation in my company is still tense but it seems to me that we are slowly getting used to the new realities.

The times of easy and pleasant work seem to be a memory and now we are facing a difficult reality and the whole team is fighting to ensure that the company does not go bankrupt.

It is not an easy experience for me, especially since it is my first job in the company and I already have to face such a situation.

Enough complaining though and I will present you some raw facts about the current situation and plans I have for the future, obviously related to my job.

The last weeks have been spent on analyzing the current situation and preparing a recovery plan. I have spent many hours at work - much more than my contract stipulates - but unfortunately these are the times we have and we must reach the heights of our abilities. 

I have no children or family so I can devote myself to work. 

What is the current situation in the SEO business in the US and UK?

It's not good. After the audit, which was carried out last week, it turns out that the employment in our company is currently too high

This is due to the fact that over 40% of our clients have suspended or concluded contracts for SEO services, so we have to look for new sales channels and ways to ensure liquidity in the company.

Due to the fact that I currently hold an independent position, I am allowed to participate in the meetings and recommend my ideas.

One of the ideas I presented at the last meeting was the possibility of establishing cooperation in order to produce the software or buy such computer system.

What was my  idea ?
 

A computer system that will replace copywriters. 

I've read a lot about artificial intelligence mechanisms that can be used to generate texts so that you can opt out of the services of professional copywriters.

Of course, we were also looking for ways to reduce other jobs, but it's hard to imagine the resignation of, for example, photographers who have to provide us with unique photos.

Artificial intelligence mechanisms offering us services that write texts to order from a given topic seem to be a much cheaper alternative than employing dozens of writers.

Of course, such systems are not perfect and require correction, but thanks to the use of such software, we will be able to reduce the number of employees by 80%.

This idea met with great interest of the management board and we have a chance to try to implement it.

Due to the fact that I do not know much about technical matters, software and artificial intelligence, we will have to hire a specialist who will help us build such a platform or a company that will sell is such product.

If we manage to build or buy something, I  will tell you about it. 

Overall, it is very interesting and I am thrilled in very positive way.
 

I associate this type of software with science fiction movies, so I am a bit excited about them with joy and hope they look to the future

Our manager with  accountant counted that if such software was implemented, we have a chance to survive at least the next year if the pandemic situation does not improve. This is very promising prognosis.

What will happen next? 

Currently, we still do not have a supplier of such software or a company selected for cooperation. We also do not know whether we will use a ready-made solution or build our own. IT consider both scenarios.

To sum up, I am still fighting and I do not quit my job, but my plans to launch my own YouTube channel are still falling away.

I thought about the situation and even if I had savings now, the situation on the market is getting more and more difficult and I know that it will be difficult for me to find sponsors so that I can become financially independent and quit my job in an SEO agency.
