Late New Year wishes - a gift from the management of the company

Hello guys, it's been a while since the new year. The boisterous home parties have been forgotten and the champagne bottles have long ended up in the garbage.

After the fever of New Year's preparations, the time has come to standardize and define my plans for the future.

 

As you know, reading my previous ones, last year I started working in a seo agency and the end of the year ended with my promotion to an independent position.

I was assigned to an individual project which I manage myself.
Today, however, I learned that I was part of the team responsible for preparing a new product for our clients.

This product is designed to help analyze the data contained in the Google search console, i.e. free tools from Google to analyze the index content.

It is one of the basic tools we use at work.

 However, the amount of data contained there may be a considerable interpretation problem for the average user or webmaster.

Therefore, recently in our company there was a thought to prepare a product that will allow us to semi-automatically analyze data in Google search console and suggested which areas need improvement.

We have established cooperation with several people, both a data analyst and a system architect who, together with a group of programmers, will help us develop this project.

In our company, we employ programmers on a permanent basis, we usually use services in the so-called outsourcing, i.e. we hire professionals only when we need new tools or some work on our clients' websites

Due to the fact that in the new project, my role is limited to serving and consulting strategic decisions. With the rest of the team, I do not have a significant influence on the decision about the shape of the project and its final appearance.

 I can only reveal that this tool, once produced, will allow us to significantly accelerate the work on each audit that we do for our clients.

Generally, the company is euphoric and very excited about this new project as most people see its potential.


It all depends on whether we can develop such algorithms that will interpret the data correctly.

From next week, we are starting daily meetings to analyze the current situation related to the development of the project.

Due to the fact that I am officially a member of the team, although my role is not that significant, I am obliged to participate in these meetings

I believe that this technology will allow us to gain many new clients and for existing clients it will provide valuable tips much faster than in the case of manual work of a specialist.

 So, summing up the coming weeks and maybe months, I will probably have a hard time working on the new program.

Admittedly, I don't have much to do at the moment because I'm not a programmer or architect.

Nevertheless, as soon as the first version of the program is created, I will probably be one of the first reviewers and testers.

The management board of our company also has great hopes for this project and has invested a lot of funds in its development.

At the beginning of the week, the company's management even bought us a new coffee machine so that we could work even more efficiently on the new project.

Our former old Espresso machine broke a long time ago and we had to use only the moka pot cafeteria for a while.

Recently, in the company, two colleagues almost had an argument about it, because each of them had a different opinion on this subject.
